First and foremost, the word CLEANSE has received some negative heat in the diet culture over the years, but at the heart of it the DKWellnessBlueprint Cleanse is a total body reset and an opportunity to reduce the amount of stimulants your body is coming into contact with so you can pave the way to discover the ideal way of eating for your lifestyle and goals. The Cleanse is an invitation to become more mindful, build awareness and tap into consistent self-care practices.
As you work closely with me through this two week journey, get curious and step into light experimentation. Notice which suggestions feel really good and which ones don't quite land well. Take a moment to pause on the latter and get curious as to WHY. If it feels currently outside of your comfort zone , bring it up on your next Success Coaching call or with your likeminded accountability peers during the regualr scheduled group meetings so you can begin to explore this more.
Here is what to expect:
Phase 1: Pre-Cleanse Prep ( 2 days: 1/1 - 1/2 )
The Pre-Cleanse is about setting your intentions and making the commitment, shopping for cleanse friendly ingredients listed in your guide and beginning to ease your body into the full cleansing mode: emotionally, mentally and physically.
Phase 2: Cleanse (7 days: 1/3 - 1/9)
During the cleanse you will follow the simple elimination diet plan with simple recipes and body practices.
Phase 3: Re-Introduction (5 days : 1/10-1/14)
You will re-introduce foods back into your diet one by one during this final phase. This will allow you to identify food sensitivities and intolerances so you can create a diet that best serves you for your unique body.
So, What the heck do I eat?
This question is on most people s minds before they consider to commit. Rest assured that the DKWellnessBlueprint Cleanse is not a fasting cleanse, so you will not be hungry and you will be able to continue your normal daily routine with a little planning. My extensive guide and the pre-cleanse zoom meeting will be very helpful for your planning!
During the cleanse phase we focus on simple and easy to prepare clean foods that are easy to digest. Your guide will include some easy recipes and sample meal plans .
This protocol is designed to eliminate major foods that can cause inflammation and digestive issues. You will see that there are plenty of foods to choose from ! One of the core strategies here is to focus on what you get to have versus deprivation or what you are not allowed to have.
The cleanse is primarily designed as a plant based hypo-allergenic diet. If you prefer to include animal protein we recommend wild caught fish and organic , "free range" poultry only. Use stevia in moderation since no other sweeteners are recommended.
We DO recommend that you pamper yourself a bit on this journey considering non-food rewards that continue to promote your health and vitality such as: hot lavender bath with Epsom salt, a massage , sauna or steam room visit, fresh flowers , yoga, a hike in nature or some simple breathing exercises.
